Welcome to Greek Mama’s Bakehouse!
My journey to creating this bakery is a story of family, tradition, and a love for baking. Growing up in Evia island, Greece, in a lively household, I was always surrounded by the delicious scents and flavours of my mother Stavroula's homemade pies. Her kitchen was where magic happened, and those moments left a lasting impression on me.
Years later, living in London and longing for the taste of home, I was inspired to recreate my mother's spanakopita (spinach pie). This craving led me to the idea of starting my own Greek pie shop. The journey was further influenced by my late mother-in-law Eleni, whose leek and bacon pie recipe became a cornerstone of my bakery.
Greek Mama’s Bakery is a homage to both these remarkable women. It's my way of sharing the joy and flavours of my Greek heritage. Each pie and pastry we make is a piece of that story, a slice of home. I invite you to join us in this culinary adventure, enjoying the simple, heartwarming tastes that have been a part of my life.

Our products
At Greek Mama’s Bakehouse, we're all about delivering an authentic Greek food experience, handcrafted with a commitment to sustainability. We prefer local ingredients, only using imported essentials like feta cheese, Greek yoghurt, and Greek extra virgin olive oil as needed. Our menu celebrates traditional Greek flavours, inspired by my Mamas' cooking. Many of our pies and delicacies, including the beloved spinach pie and savory Leek & Bacon pie, are based on their original recipes. But there's more to our story: we handcraft all our doughs, rolling out each sheet by hand in small batches. This process, reminiscent of a Greek village kitchen, ensures every bite carries the authentic, homespun quality that makes our bakery special.
